I hope you will enjoy trying a few of my favorite recipes....   


A leg of Goat cut to fit into the crockpot.  Or a goat roast

  • 1 can Beef Broth                
  • Minced Garlic                
  • 1 TBSP Browning Sauce 
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup        
  • 1 Package of Lipton Onion Soup mix

Spray crockpot with vegetable spray.  Add broth and mushroom soup to pot.  Mix together.  Add browning sauce to pot and stir well.  
Place roast in pot.  Spread minced garlic over top of roast.  Sprinkle onion soup mix over garlic.  
Cover.  Cook 8 hours on low.  Serve with mashed potatoes of rice.  Gravy is delicious.  Meat will fall off bone and shred easily.  
Leftover meat and gravy make a great base for homemade soup.  


  • 2lbs of ground goat meat            
  • 1 cup minute oatmeal                    
  • Sauce: 3/4c Ketchup
  • 1 small onion, chopped                
  • 1 green pepper, chopped                                        
  • Sugar
  • 2 eggs                                        
  • 1 package meatloaf seasoning
  • Worchestershire sauce

Mix all ingredients (except sauce ingredients) together in a bowl.  Knead together.  Roll into small balls. Place in 9x13 baking dish (sprayed with Pam).  

Mix sauce ingredients together.  Start with ¾ cup ketchup, a little sugar and 3-4 shakes of Worchestershire sauce.  Taste.  Add more sugar or Worchestershire sauce until you like the taste of the sauce. (I like a lot of the sauce on my meatballs, so I made a larger portion.)  Spoon over meatballs.
Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.  Serve as appetizer or as main dish with parsley potatoes and veggies.
*** Can also be prepared in an electric skillet.  I sauté the meatballs in butter until they were brown all over.  Then I add the sauce mixture and let them simmer until sauce thickens.

Crockpot Pepper Steak

  • 1 pound Goat Meat, cut into bite-size pieces           
  • Rice to serve 4-6
  • 2 green peppers, cut into bite-size pieces                
  • 1 bunch of celery, cut into bite-size pieces                
  • Cornstarch, 3 TBSP
  • 1 can beef broth                                
  • Soy Sauce to taste

In a skillet with oil, saute meat until brown.  Add cut vegetables.  

Toss around in skillet for a few minutes until they are coated with the oil.  

Pour into a Crockpot.  Add beef broth.  Cook on low 6-8 hours.  Meat will be tender. Prepare gravy thickener.  Add to meat and vegetables.  Stir well.  Turn heat down on crockpot.  Gravy will thicken quickly.  Add soy sauce to your personal taste.  

To Make Gravy Thickener - combine cornstarch and a little hot water in a cup.  Stir until well-blended.  Pour into crockpot.  You can also add Browning Sauce, if you want a darker color gravy. 

Prepare rice before you mix gravy.  When all is ready place rice on plate and top with meat mixture.  Great to serve with fresh sliced tomatoes!

Makes great leftovers!
